Porcelain Painting Final

There was a sketch tile posted for this a long time ago, and technically I finished this piece a while ago too, but I'm proud of it and would like to put it up. I painted the fish with porcelain paint on a pre-made plate.

  1. Those are gorgeous Alice, does that paint chip off at all?

  2. Dylan! It never notifies me about comments, I don't know how to make it do that. But no, you bake it and it stays right on. And thank you!

  3. Hello there.
This might pass off as over-random but I was googling about porcelain painting and your artwork brought me here.

Quick Qns: what kind of porcelain paint did you use and do you still remember the process? Please cure my burning doubt. Thanks. x

    1. Hi Lerayne!

I used Pebeo Pocelaine 150 paint and it's wonderfully simple. You can fire them in your home oven at 300 degrees for 30 minutes. Once it's fired the finish is as permanent as enamel. They come in an array of colors and should be available in most art supply/craft stores. Hope this helps!
